Rural economies play an important part in global development. Yet, many rural economies remain weak and in need of strengthening support. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically encourage this organization to contribute in the management of strategic economic assets of the village. The goal is to develop economic networks and enhance the competitiveness of rural economies and empower villagers (Yuesti, et al, 2018, Sumantra and Yuesti, 2017, Yuesti 2015). Thus, it takes strategic effort and appropriate actions to achieve that goal. The first step is to establish a forum for the development of economic networks, which, in this case is the Rural Education and Creative Economics, like BUMDes in Indonesia.

Rural Education and Creative Economics is basically a form of consolidation or reinforcement of village economic institutions, integrating global perspectives. Rural Education and Creative Economics is also an instrument of local economic empowerment with various types of potentials. The empowerment of creative potentials aims to improve the economic welfare of the villagers through the development of their economic enterprises. In addition, the existence of Rural Education and Creative Economics also contributes to the revitalization of local wellness modalities, improvement of the village's original economic resources, and regeneration of environment and natural resources, which will enable the village to optimally develop and improve the peoples’ overall wellbeing and development.

In order to regenerate sustainable rural economies, it is necessary to develop the Community Empowerment Economic Development within the framework of community empowerment (Yuesti, et al 2018, Yuesti and Sumantra, 2018, Sumantra and Yuesti 2016, Sumantra and Yuesti, 2017, Yuesti 2015) and the sustainable dynamics framework (Calderon and Nguyen, 2017). The aim share to explore the potential of the rural economy by exploring and empowering the potentials of the village, staring with its stakeholders. Towards this end, the following can be undertaken:

  • development of human resource capabilities to provide added value in the management of village economic assets;
  • integration of rural economic products to have good bargaining position in market network;
  • transcultural exchanges with other rural communities all over the world;
  • strengthening of village economic institutions;
  • developing supporting elements such as cooperatives, micro-credit, market information and linkage, technological and management support, economic infrastructure and communication networks as well as support for guidance and regulation;
  • overall human transformation in the areas of wellness, creative autonomy and transformative leadership for optimum regeneration.
  • Women Empowerment

The initiative of individuals and communities in the villages should be of paramount consideration. But they also need to be given coaching and mentoring that are anchored upon human transformation to improve their ability to face global competition; possibly lead in global sustainability. Through a set of researches, we can share about sustainable village development models with educational and creative economic development models.
